An idea when able to tame xx cl pet

Currently I have 2/1/1/1 on Creature Handler. I would love to get a Gleaming Lantern Bird but I see that it is CL 27. How can I tell approximatly what pets I can tame as compared to CL of the pet itself?
Is it 2-5 cl per box yellowed on ch skill trees? Thanks in advance for any assist on this.

I personally do not keep track of all pet levels which CH skill grants. You could try using Character builders to simulate your skills.

Once you fill in the boxes, go to \"View Report\" link to see what stats you get at that level. It's a handy tool. :)

Great ty! I know that I love my Peko Peko so having another type of bird in my stable would be great. :D

I don't believe you can tame above your max pet level (Skill menu, My Skill Mods, Max level of pets) Unless BE clothes help with this too :?:

You cant tame over your max level no, you can call pets that have a higher max level after someone else tamed it though.
And you get 2/2/3/5 for every tree. So one tree done will double your level from novice, 2 trees triple, and so on..
Vicious modifiers and such come into play too of course, but as long as you dont want the most vicious pets you can usually tame just fine up to your level cap.
