Does the Merek Death's Head Really Have a Ranged Attack ?

I caught 1 a number of months ago and when training it (I am a Master CH) I was not given the option to train it the ranged attack command.....thus I question whether this creature really does have a ranged attack like posted on this site.
Can anyone else confirm ?
